The predicted salary is between 40 - 40 £ per hour.

Your primary site will be Cromwell Hospital, and you’ll show flexibility to work in other DASCL sites - Canary Wharf Basinghall Clinic and DASCAL (Diagnostic and Secondary Care London) sites as needed. You'll be a HCPC registered Senior Radiographer with significant post qualification experience in Mammography, CT and General X-ray. You'll form part of a team of senior radiographers and be responsible for delivering a high quality, safe service, and provide at all times world-class customer service.

About The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London providing care to both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, outpatients, theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre (new cath lab), CDU, urgent care centre, level 2 and 3 adult intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services – MRI/CT/GEN/Nuclear Medicine, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and onsite pharmacy.

Our new modern Radiography department is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology to include:

  • 4 MRI Philips scanners (3T, and 1.5T scanner)
  • Dedicated Extremity MRI Scanner
  • Two general X-Ray rooms
  • One fluoroscopy suite, which can also be utilised as an additional X-Ray room
  • One Cone Beam CT scanner
  • One Bone Density scanner with advanced body composition analysis capabilities
  • Two state-of-the-art mobile X-Ray units
  • Four theatre image intensifiers

About the Centre – Canary Wharf

The Centre's secondary care services including muscle, bone and joint, orthopaedics, pain and spinal, dental and maxillofacial, breast and gynaecology, dermatology, cardiac, musculoskeletal, spinal, and urology, ENT, and will be able to perform simple procedures onsite. The diagnostic centre houses the latest state-of-the-art technology:

  • 3T Siemens scanner
  • Somatom Force CT scanner
  • X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • A serene women health unit providing one stop breast care services
  • Gynae unit.

The centre provides rapid-access to numerous specialities, and is operational Monday to Friday 8:00am to 20:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to 14:00pm.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Perform high-quality Breast Screening CT and X-ray examinations in line with departmental protocols.
  • Manage daily operations and organise work schedules for efficiency.
  • Supervise and train junior staff and new starters.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as per the roster.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, IR(ME)R regulations, and hospital policies.
  • Undertake clinical audits and equipment quality assurance.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • State registration – HCPC (essential)
  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
  • Post Grad Cert in Mammography (essential)
  • Substantial CT and Mammography experience including Breast Biopsy, pneumocolons scanning and cardiac scanning (essential)
  • Experience with Siemens CT, and Siemens X-ray machine (desirable)
  • Knowledge of IRMER guidelines (essential)
