You'll help us make health happen by:
- Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care.
- Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents.
- Answering emergency bells or calls from residents, assessing the situation, dealing with residents seeking help and summoning the senior care staff whenever necessary.
- Assisting residents who need help with the activities of daily living; including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as documented in their care plan.
- Helping residents with mobility problems, including transferring residents using appropriate equipment and other physical disabilities, helping with use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
- Being part of a team supporting the senior care assistant in monitoring our residents and reporting changes.
- Communicating with residents' families, friends and other healthcare professionals.
Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
