We make health happen. Richmond Village Aston-on-Trent is looking for a talented Cook to join the team. This is a unique role within a luxury retirement village, offering no late nights or split shifts - giving you great work-life balance while working across the care home, restaurant, and clubhouse.

You'll bring experience from busy, quality kitchens and a passion for delivering high standards across a variety of cuisines. A fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a refined, supportive environment where your work truly makes a difference.

You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals to a high standard
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
  • Following food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Helping with stock rotation and storage
  • Learning and developing culinary techniques under guidance from senior chefs
  • Responding to residents and customers dietary needs and personal preferences

Open to new ideas, you'll have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service. You'll enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.

Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
