This role will play a key role supporting the Group Early Careers Team, reporting into the Early Careers Manager. The team oversee Bupa's graduate and placement programmes across Group Functions and BGIUK teams, currently supporting over 50 students on various pathways. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of these programmes and supporting the attraction and development of early talent.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Manage the Early Careers inbox and respond to queries.
- Coordinate diaries and schedule meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Produce regular reports on recruitment, diversity, and retention metrics.
- Maintain licences and subscriptions relevant to the Early Careers team.
- Organise assessment centres, including sending invitations to assessors and candidates.
- Administer tasks related to external assessment platforms.
- Support Early Careers Ambassadors with queries and help facilitate social, networking, and development events.
- Provide finance support, including processing purchase orders, invoices, and internal recharges.
- Liaise with the Communications team to support programme visibility.
- Lead the planning and delivery of induction events, including logistics such as room bookings, diary invites, catering, and travel arrangements.
- Attend team meetings, manage agendas, and track actions.
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Early Careers team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in team coordination, ideally within an Early Careers or People function.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information.
- Positive, flexible, and collaborative team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and quick to learn new software platforms.
