You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures, showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients, ensuring that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered.

You’ll be flexible, an effective communicator with excellent organisation and attention to detail, and able to work collaboratively with other modalities in radiography. Able to perform IV cannulation and administer radioactive injections and other license products confidently. And ensure a safe and efficient environment for our staff and patients. It is essential that you have confidently used Sectra PACs. You’ll be familiar with Siemens and GE scanners with experience as a radiation protection supervisor. You would have also worked on paediatrics. The service is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • B.Sc. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent. (essential)
  • Substantial, post-graduate experience in a relevant post. (essential)
  • Paediatric cases (essential)
  • Sectra PACs (essential)
  • Postgraduate studies in Radionuclide Imaging (desirable)

We are looking to appoint a Senior 1 Nuclear Medicine Technologist with proven substantial post grad experience to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. We are an internationally recognised hospital located in the heart of Kensington, London, and receive both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare for patients.

The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London providing care to both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre, CDU, Urgent Care centre, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and a new cath lab. Our new modern Radiography department is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology to include:

  • Two general X-Ray rooms
  • One fluoroscopy suite, which can also be utilised as an additional X-Ray room
  • One Cone Beam CT scanner
  • One Bone Density scanner with advanced body composition analysis capabilities
  • Two state-of-the-art mobile X-Ray units
  • Four theatre image intensifiers
