Overview
Whether you know what you want to do in the future or are still working that out, we believe it\βs important to try it for yourself. During the 12-month placement, you\βll complete a rotation in one of our actuarial functions, which may include: Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting, Claims Analytics, Group Actuarial. No two days are the same, and you will experience a balanced mix of challenges, mutual support and accelerated skills development through our development programme. You will shadow senior colleagues to gain valuable insight and enhance your network. At the end of a successful placement, there is potential to be fast-tracked for a place on our graduate scheme.
Responsibilities
Gain a deep and valuable insight into the actuarial world through a 12-month undergraduate industrial placement. Work across actuarial functions as part of a structured rotation, with opportunities for development and networking.
What we\βre looking for / Qualifications
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Current undergraduate student in your penultimate year of your degree
- Numerical based degree, such as (but not limited to) Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Economics
- Be on track to achieve at least a 2.1 in your degree
- Have achieved an ABB at A-Level or equivalent, with a minimum grade in A-Level in Maths (or equivalent)
