How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen

Reporting to the Admin & Patient Experience Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration and patient journey within our outpatient clinics.

You

  • Meet and greet patients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming service
  • Manage patient registrations and maintain accurate patient records
  • Book appointments, follow-up consultations, and diagnostic tests
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Respond to patient enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Support clinic operations through effective administration and scheduling
  • Assist with obtaining and uploading patient results and documentation
  • Handle telephone enquiries and direct calls appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
  • Contribute to delivering an outstanding patient experience aligned to Bupa values

Essential

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, reception, administration, or patient-facing role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Competent IT and data entry skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends

Desirable

  • Experience working within a healthcare, hospital, or clinical environment
  • Knowledge of patient administration systems
  • Experience managing payments and financial transactions
  • Customer service-related qualifications or training
