As a Reporting Insight Analyst, you'll use data and insight to help shape decisions across UK Insurance and Bupa Global, supporting strong risk management, governance and customer outcomes.
Working as part of the Control & Governance function, you'll bring together information from across the business to identify trends, risks and opportunities, helping leaders make informed decisions. You'll play a key role in improving business reporting and delivering meaningful insights that support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Analyse data from across UK Insurance and Bupa Global to provide meaningful insight for business leaders and governance forums.
- Develop management information and reporting that helps identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities.
- Produce high-quality reporting on third-party relationships, incidents, controls and governance activities.
- Support the development of reporting models and process improvements to enhance the quality and reliability of insight.
- Deliver reporting for executive, board and committee forums, helping strengthen understanding and decision-making.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to improve reporting standards and governance practices.
- Share insight and best practice across UK Insurance and Bupa Global to support consistent outcomes.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Essential
- Advanced experience using Power BI, including dashboard development, DAX and data visualisation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and spreadsheets, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience developing automated solutions using Power Automate and other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Good technical knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and data pipelines.
- Proven ability to create high-quality management information and reporting packs for senior leaders.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills, with experience gathering requirements and working across multiple business areas.
- Experience managing reporting projects, coordinating inputs from large and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, insights and opportunities from complex data.
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Insight Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics or a related discipline.
