About Elm View Care Home: A talented and versatile team at Elm View Care Home offer care and support for a wide range of needs, including residential, nursing, respite, convalescence and palliative as well as Parkinson's care. Situated in the popular town of Clevedon, this purpose-built modern home provides warm and welcoming accommodation with comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens. All bedrooms are well-decorated and residents are welcome to personalise their surroundings. Food is homemade and can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room or in the privacy of residents’ own bedrooms. All loved ones are made to feel welcome when visiting. The activities programme is organised so that each residents’ tastes and abilities are accounted for. There are arts and crafts classes and a gardening club, as well as seasonally themed monthly events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
  • Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
  • Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
  • Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
