Type: Permanent Contract – Full Time, 44 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £12.75 – £14.34 dependent on experience
Shifts: Mixture of Day and Night shifts on rotation

As a Senior Care Assistant, your role is vital to our home. You will lead Care Assistants delivering high-quality, personal care, and also inspire, develop, and nurture them daily.
We will train you on our new digital care systems, transforming our work and allowing you to focus on clinical excellence. With over 75 years of healthcare expertise, we are committed to ongoing training in clinical and social care developments, learning from industry leaders. It’s an exciting time to join us.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing daily operations of a care unit
- Supporting clinical duties such as medication administration, care plan reviews, and record keeping
- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
- Training and supervising new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported
- Building relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals such as GPs and District Nurses
- Assisting residents with personal care duties
Qualifications and skills required:
- Completed or working towards NVQ3 in care; support available for qualification completion
- Motivated, positive, with excellent interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience in a similar role and understanding of its rewards and challenges
