Salary: up to £33,000 per year dependent on experience plus Company Van
Contract: Permanent Full-Time role – (40 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm (flexible approach required to suit position.)

You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Ensure that the external grounds are maintained to a safe and acceptable standard, carrying out any works with the minimum disturbance to occupants and visitors.
- Creating/ Designing flower displays around the external grounds and displays for internal to suit each home, making them inviting, peaceful/ restful environment
- Maintaining all grassed areas including mowing, trimming, weed control, repairs and feeding.
- Ensuring all trees and shrubs are maintained, including trimming, pruning, and assessing stability.
- Maintaining all flower beds, boarder plants, hanging baskets and potted plants.
- Providing general maintenance, including sweeping, and weed removal on all paved areas, removing any litter and raking leaves.
- Responsible for keeping the van, tool sheds and storage areas tidy and maintaining all garden equipment and tools.
- During adverse weather and absences, provide support to the Maintenance division as required with decorating and basic maintenance support.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
You will hold a full driving license, have hands on experience in grounds maintenance and a passion for gardening with a minimum of 3 year’s experience and/ or suitable horticultural qualifications. Experience within a large commercial estate would be beneficial, knowledge of horticulture statutory requirements and health and safety legislation. Have a friendly and approachable, have excellent customer service skills and an ability to work well as part of a large team. With a practical ability and experience in painting and decorating, you\’re happy to help the wider multidisciplinary teams as required.
