BUOYANCY AEROSPACE was founded in 2022 to meet the rising demand for solutions in aerospace, space, and defense, markets underserved by a dysfunctional supply chain. With active production facilities in the UK and Germany and a growing workforce of currently >150 employees, we are scaling rapidly while already delivering to our customers.
We are seeking a Quality Engineer for the structural airframe components section of BUOYANCY AEROSPACE Ltd, UK.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely under the direction of the Quality Manager.
- Communicate quality issues with customers and suppliers.
- Prepare First Article Inspection reports.
- Lead or support RCCA activities and the NCR process dealing with non‑conforming products while implementing robust corrective actions.
- Generate, implement, and maintain procedures, processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Review and manage customer specifications.
- Manage the calibration system.
- Conduct internal audits.
- Support customer and regulatory audits.
- Support reporting of KPIs.
- AS9100 internal auditor certification.
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace industry.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements.
- IT literate.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
