About the Role

We are looking for a confident and motivated Customer Service Executive to join our growing team.

This is a varied role that combines customer service, account management, sales development, and data analysis.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring customers receive an excellent service at all times.

The successful candidate will be confident speaking with customers over the phone, commercially minded, and has strong Excel skills to analyse reports and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and build strong customer relationships.
  • Process customer orders accurately and maintain up-to-date account records.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Make outbound sales calls to existing and lapsed customers to generate orders and increase customer spend.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales through product recommendations, promotions, and alternative products.
  • Analyse customer reports and purchasing trends to identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Manage stock shortages and keep customers informed of delivery updates.
  • Work closely with internal departments including Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Stock Control, and Credit Control.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while achieving sales and profitability targets.

About You

  • Has previous experience in customer service, internal sales, account management, or a similar role.
  • Is confident picking up the phone and engaging with customers.
  • Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Has a proactive approach to generating sales opportunities.
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Has strong Microsoft Excel skills and is comfortable analysing reports and data.
  • Can identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within customer accounts.
  • Is commercially aware and focused on delivering results.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team.
