The Role

As a Customer Service Executive, you will support the achievement of branch sales, profit and customer service targets. You will manage customer accounts, generate repeat business and deliver a high standard of service, while identifying opportunities to grow sales and margins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Account Development
    • Make daily outbound calls in line with the call diary to generate repeat orders
    • Maximise sales opportunities through product range extensions, own-brand products and special offers
    • Grow and develop new and lapsed accounts within a defined customer portfolio
    • Review reports and customer trends to identify opportunities to increase sales and margin
    • Work closely with internal sales teams to achieve shared targets
  • Customer Service
    • Accurately set up customer accounts and process orders, completing all call logs and reports
    • Handle customer queries, issues and requests promptly, professionally and courteously
    • Manage out-of-stock items by liaising with purchasing and advising customers accordingly
    • Maintain effective working relationships with operations, sales, stock control and credit control to ensure excellent service levels
