The Role

As Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing business in your territory. This is a field-based role where you’ll take full ownership of your client base, develop new opportunities, and help deliver the excellent service Bunzl is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers and support colleagues with larger accounts
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve growth targets
  • Monitor sales performance and provide monthly reports on key performance indicators
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client information
  • Visit customers regularly to provide quotes, resolve issues, and ensure ongoing satisfaction

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in field sales or account management
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
  • Target‑oriented with a proactive, self‑motivated approach
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

We’re looking for a commercially‑minded individual with a strong track record in sales or account management. You’ll be confident working in a performance‑driven environment and able to build strong, long‑term customer relationships.
