About the role: We are looking for a highly creative and curious Designer with ca. 5 years of experience in the Lingerie & Sleepwear categories. This individual will report to the Head of Design for the brand, and he/she will be expected to work autonomously through the entire creative process in order to develop commercially strong and trend-relevant collections within those two categories.
Key responsibilities:
- Design seasonal collections for Lingerie (Bras & Panties) and Sleepwear while ensuring a strong alignment with the brand's DNA and target customer.
- Conduct in-depth trend research (silhouettes, colours, prints, fabrics, trims, and fits) relevant to the Intimates category.
- Develop mood boards, concept boards, colour palettes, hand sketches, and CADs.
- Create accurate and detailed tech packs including construction details, measurements, BOMs, and artwork placements.
- Work closely with other teams such as Merchandising, Sourcing, Buying, and Product Development to ensure designs meet cost, margin, and quality targets.
- Partner with vendors on fabric development, sampling, fit comments, and regular revisions.
- Actively participate in fit sessions, providing clear feedback to achieve optimal comfort, fit, and functionality.
- Proactively track sample progress and production timelines to ensure timely approvals.
- Ensure all products meet quality, comfort, and functional standards (especially critical for bras, panties, and sleepwear).
- Track sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to support range improvement and future collections.
- Stay updated on fabric innovations, emerging sustainable materials, and new construction techniques within the Intimates category.
Key requirements:
- Ca. 5 years of relevant design experience within the Intimates space (experience in Swimwear & Beachwear will be desirable but not mandatory).
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, and/or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail-focused, high-volume environments will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of intimate wear construction, fits, grading, and materials.
- Great understanding of bras, panties, elastics, laces, trims, and functional components.
- Proficient user level in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Good ability to translate trends into commercial, scalable designs.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent time and workload management skills.
