Role Overview: We're on the lookout for Team Leaders who are excited to be part of Buns From Home team. People who love lifting others up, bringing good vibes, and keeping things running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate team roles during shifts, balancing workload and optimizing productivity.
  • Ensure that service standards and cleaning schedules are upheld consistently during your shifts.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures for the bakery during your shifts.
  • Impart knowledge and best practice for newer team members.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, or complaints, ensuring they have a positive experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness standards in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels during your shifts and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the manager.
  • Communicate any significant incidents, feedback, or operational challenges to the Site Bakery Lead post-shift.
  • Assist in documenting daily sales, wastage, and other operational data as needed.

No two days are the same at Buns, so being organised, clear in your communication, and ready to jump in wherever needed is key. It's all about teamwork, high standards, and a shared love for great food and community.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the food & beverage sector.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in a food service environment.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrable capability in handling operational challenges with a calm and efficient approach.
