We are recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster vacancy on behalf of one of our top client companies. They are an extremely highly regarded & long-established Lloyds Syndicate and re/insurer. The successful hire will be responsible for actively handling a broad range of Casualty, Specialty and Property Reinsurance claims, as well as participating in claims audits, providing analysis to underwriters and reserving actuaries, and participating in collaborative projects. Key responsibilities:
- Actively handle claims arising from a variety of classes of business including Casualty, Specialty and Property.
- Ensuring all handled claims are properly processed and reserved.
- Build and maintain relationships with key brokers and internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with developing (re)insurance knowledge within the team.
- Assist Underwriters in renewal meetings as required.
- Provide feedback to Underwriters from a Claims perspective.
- Participate in client visits and audits as required.
- Represent the company at market meetings and on market committees and attend company sponsored training events.
- Ensures alignment and compliance with Global reserving practices and strategy.
- Support claims team members in participation of claims audits.
Required experience:
- A bachelor's or university degree preferred, or comparable experience.
- A professional designation preferable (ACII qualification or similar work experience).
- At least 4 years relevant prior experience in the (re)insurance industry.
