This new position allows an individual who already does or wants to really specialise in USA/Int Healthcare claims (with the longer term opportunity to handle broader Casualty classes, if desired).

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Healthcare claims, ensuring timely and accurate handling, appropriate reserving, and full compliance with the companies Claims Management Guidelines.
- Oversee and manage litigation processes, working closely with legal representatives to ensure effective outcomes and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, market participants, and external experts to support efficient claims resolution.
- Attend meetings and presentations on high-value and complex losses, working alongside senior claims professionals and underwriters to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Actuarial teams, contributing insights and analysis to support optimal portfolio performance and inform underwriting strategy.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and have a dynamic character and can-do attitude, coupled with experience in handling USA claims (any class) and med mal/healthcare claims in the Lloyds / London market.
