Cocktail Bartender/Floor

Job Purpose:

The Bartender will be based either on the bar or floor and will be responsible for the first contact with the customers providing direction to people walking in and taking the order. There is importance to provide an accommodating presence in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in the bar by greeting and explaining to customers the menu and any deals that we have
• Provide fast and efficient service in taking food and drinks orders and by making cocktails in a timely manner
• Take food orders out by checking tickets and ensuring customers have the correct dishes ordered
• Clean tables as customers are eating and clear up after them
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean working environment including providing deep clean tasks around the bar and floor
• Deterring anti-social behaviour, implement challenge 25 and refuse alcohol to customers under the influence
• Liaising with the kitchen and floor to provide the best service to the customers, due to food waits or clearing of tables
• Use the opening and closing checklists to set up the bar and floor to the best of your ability
• Provide enough preparation for the bar. ensuring all stock is correctly refilled such as bar caddies, fridges and candles
• Report to the supervisor
