Position: Execution Desk Assistant (full‑time, onsite)
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate collections and deliveries to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Liaise with mills, suppliers, farmers, traders, and haulage contractors to manage stock movements
- Schedule and book transport movements efficiently
- Negotiate with haulage providers to minimise transport costs
- Track, verify, and communicate ETAs to internal and external stakeholders
- Review weekly contract balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain clear and regular communication within the operations team to ensure smooth execution of daily activities
- Educated to a minimum of A-level standard (degree preferred or equivalent experience)
- Experience or strong interest in transport, haulage, logistics, or scheduling
- Knowledge of AIC and FOSFA contracts is advantageous
- Good understanding of arable farming is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
- Detail‑oriented with strong planning and coordination ability
- Confident negotiator with commercial awareness
- Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
