Grade 2, point range 3 Salary: Β£24,796 (pro rata). The actual salary payable is Β£19,998 per annum, paid monthly over 12 months. This post is to work term time, plus 5 PD training days = 39 weeks per year, 35 hours per week. 1 September 2026 start. Permanent contract.
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support the education of students in Years 7 β 11. Each TA will have a set timetable and will support students in the lower school (Years 7β11) in class or in small group work and in 1:1 teaching away from the classroom. The role is managed by the SEND Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students in class and small group settings
- Delivering 1:1 support away from the classroom
- Assisting with mentoring young people and supporting skills clubs
- Scribing students during exams
Qualifications and experience:
- Some experience or aptitude for mentoring young people
- Experience in supporting or delivering skills clubs is desirable
- Understanding of SEND principles is beneficial
