As an Assistant manager we want you to play a key role in the running of our day-to-day operations. This means you’ll work closely with the general manager to maintain high standards of food, drink and hospitality. Our managers take a proactive approach to team management, helping them to thrive, develop and deliver keeping morale high and turnover low. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the business and develop in post. Never done it before? Don\’t worry, so long as you\’re curious and passionate, we’ll take care of the rest.
Key Responsibilities
Everybody good time: Motivate, train, and manage a team, ensuring that the guests get the best experience we can offer and that staff enjoy their time on shift.
Eye of the tiger: Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and ensuring the restaurant is neat and welcoming to guests.
Everybody welcome: Deliver a memorable experience to our guests by offering hospitality over service and creating an experience that people will remember.
Too much spicy: Support the management team in implementing new initiatives, promotions, and training programs.
No Beef: work with the wider industry to help build community in and around the city.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Sales & Financial Management: Assist with managing budgets, cost control, and achieving sales targets.
Staff Scheduling: Help create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while maintaining team morale.
