We’re looking for a deeply curious, outcome-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead product thinking within our pods — and help shape how we build AI-powered products at Bunch. This is not a traditional PM role. We build using an AI-driven development model, where engineering velocity is high, AI assists across the full SDLC, and the job of product leadership is to accelerate — not gatekeep. You’ll help shape and drive the product direction, from discovery through to delivery, on our AI-powered mobile platform. You’ll be the voice of the customer, the keeper of the roadmap, and the clear‑headed decision‑maker who keeps the pods focused on outcomes over output. You’ll report directly to the HoE and work closely with engineering, design, data, and operations across the Bunch platform.

Role Accountabilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for your pod — from insight to launch — aligned to the platform strategy.
  • Lead continuous customer discovery: user interviews, usability testing, behavioural data analysis, and synthesis into clear product decisions.
  • Generate high‑quality PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are precise, contextually rich, and optimised for AI‑assisted development workflows.
  • Define and track success metrics for every feature — ensuring the pod delivers measurable outcomes, not just shipped code.
  • Work closely with engineering to maintain a healthy, sequenced backlog that supports a fast‑moving, AI‑assisted delivery model.
  • Make confident prioritisation calls that balance user value, business impact, and technical feasibility — and communicate the reasoning clearly.
  • Represent the customer in architectural, design, and scoping discussions — connecting engineering decisions to real user outcomes.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operations stakeholders to ensure product decisions account for the full customer lifecycle.
  • Act as the product anchor — creating clarity, unblocking progress, and mentoring those around you to develop stronger product thinking.

Behaviours

  • DELIVERY: We get stuck in, overcome setbacks, and hold ourselves accountable. Drives product delivery with a bias to action — creating clarity and unblocking the pod, not waiting for perfect information.
  • GOOD VIBES: We aim to be a positive and friendly place, where people want to be. Brings energy, optimism, and structure to the pod — helping the team focus, make decisions, and celebrate progress.
  • ONE TEAM: We work collaboratively across the organisation in the interests of our customers and wider outcomes. Operates as a genuine cross‑functional partner, not a gatekeeper — product decisions made with the team, not handed down to them.
  • GROWTH: We strive to grow ourselves, and the Company. Continuously evolves their product craft, stays ahead of AI product patterns, and helps others develop stronger product thinking.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Essential: 5+ years in a product management role, with at least 2 years working on consumer‑facing mobile products in a high‑growth or startup environment. Proven track record of shipping impactful features with clear, measurable outcomes. Experience in AI product environments, utilities, fintech, or subscription‑based consumer products. Exposure to AI‑assisted development workflows or AI‑native product teams.
  • Desirable: Additional qualifications in product management, UX, data analytics, or business strategy.

Education

  • Degree in any discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking.

Key Skills

  • Expert in product discovery, requirements definition, and outcome‑led delivery.
  • Highly skilled at writing clear, detailed PRDs and user stories that enable high‑velocity development.
  • Strong data literacy — comfortable designing metrics, interpreting analytics, and driving decisions from evidence.
  • Outstanding communicator who creates clarity for engineers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Comfortable owning decisions in high‑autonomy environments where ambiguity is the norm.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in a development context — prompt engineering awareness, LLM product patterns, or experience building features that use AI agents.
  • Exposure to design thinking, Jobs to Be Done, or similar modern product frameworks.
  • Experience building for AI‑native mobile applications.
