bunch is building the backbone of private markets. We are enabling next-gen fund operations with one integrated system that combines secure data infrastructure, AI-powered workflows and expert fund services. If you value ownership, growth through real responsibility, and working with a thoughtful, ambitious team, this role might be for you.
Your Role
As Partnerships Lead at bunch, you will own the partnership function across our core markets: the partners who send us clients, and the specialist providers who help us service those mandates end-to-end. Fund administration is a partnership-driven business. The right referral and channel partners create qualified pipeline at scale. The right provider network ensures we can support fund managers across markets without capability gaps. This role brings both together. You will build the channel that brings clients in and the provider network that lets us keep them. This is a revenue-generating role with direct impact on ARR, and it is also a critical operational role: making sure bunch can service any fund mandate in our markets with confidence, quality, and speed.
You will:
- Own the partnership programme across bunch’s core markets — UK, Germany, and Luxembourg — keeping a consistent framework while adapting activation to local market dynamics and regulatory realities.
- Identify, sign, and activate referral and channel partners, including fund formation counsel, placement agents, banks, audit advisors, and tax advisors.
- Convert partner relationships into qualified pipeline and measurable partner-sourced ARR.
- Structure and maintain relationships with regulated and specialist providers, including depositaries, AML officers, ManCos, auditors, and onboarding, compliance, accounting, and tax specialists.
- Close capability gaps so bunch can service fund mandates end-to-end across our markets, with particular focus on the complexity and value of Luxembourg’s regulated-provider network.
- Own commercial negotiation, pricing, and scope across partnerships, working closely with the relevant operations owners on delivery.
- Build the infrastructure behind the channel from day one: tracking partner introductions, conversion to clients, partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and activation timelines.
- Partner with Commercial and Marketing on joint go-to-market initiatives, including co-hosted events, co-authored content, and partner-facilitated introductions.
- Represent bunch at key industry events and forums across our markets; regular travel is expected.
The two pillars of the role:
- Grow the channel: You will identify, sign, and activate referral and channel partners that convert into qualified pipeline at scale. You will own the commercial relationship, including negotiation, pricing, and scope expansion. Once a referred client is live, day-to-day delivery sits with the relevant operations owner; your focus stays on growing the relationship and driving more pipeline through it.
- Close the capability map: You will identify, structure, and maintain relationships with specialist and regulated providers that allow bunch to service fund mandates end-to-end. These relationships are ongoing and operational by nature; you own them commercially while delivery runs alongside the relevant teams.
What this role does not own:
Strategic platform partnerships — the marquee, leadership-level relationships — sit with bunch’s leadership team, not this role. You will own the channel and delivery-provider network. Where the two intersect, you will be close to the action, but platform partnerships are not your primary number.
About You
- 5–8 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a senior client-facing role within fund administration, fund services, fintech, or professional services.
- Strong understanding of private markets and how fund managers actually operate.
- Experience building something from scratch, such as a partner programme, new market, or commercial channel.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity, creating structure as you go, and owning a measurable commercial outcome.
- Commercially sharp: you understand how referral and delivery partnerships work, what makes each valuable, and how to structure simple agreements that work for both sides.
- Able to hold senior conversations with partners at law firms, depositaries, regulated providers, and professional services firms.
- Strong cross-functional partner to Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and leadership teams.
- Organised and systems-oriented, with the ability to build tracking, reporting, and process while moving fast.
- Fluent in the language of private markets, including fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, and the regulatory environment across the UK and Europe.
- Familiar with the role of depositaries, ManCos, AML officers, and other regulated or specialist providers in fund operations.
- Existing relationships in the UK and/or European VC/PE ecosystem — such as law firms, accountancy practices, placement agents, banks, or regulated providers — that give you a running start.
- Willing and able to travel regularly across bunch’s markets.
- Hungry to own and scale an important function in a fast-growing company.
Workplace & Benefits
- Customizable benefits package (wellbeing, sport, mobility, food, and more).
- 28 days of vacation, plus 2 company days and local public holidays.
- Remote-flexible hybrid setup, depending on location and role requirements.
- Up to 4 remote calendar weeks a year.
- A great tech and work setup.
- Work with a diverse team of 120+ bunchies from 40+ countries, with leaders who are best-in-class in their domains.
