The Learning and Development Coordinator will support the business on all matters concerning learning and development, both onshore and offshore, whilst providing general support within the HR team. This is an onshore role based in the Aberdeen office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continually review and update the company Training and Competence Framework in line with industry regulations and current legislation.
- Create, manage and maintain a training and competence matrix for all onshore employees as part of the current framework.
- Work with supply chain and discipline engineers to develop and continually review training and competence standards for all vendors.
- Responsible for the regular review and updating of the Competence Assessment Modules (CAFs).
- Ensure all training and competence remains in certification, and refreshers or renewals are booked well in advance of expiry dates.
- Arrange employee medicals including Management Referrals, Fit to Return Medicals, ERT Medicals and OEUK Offshore Medicals, ensuring appointments are made well in advance of expiring certificates and maintain the HR, Vantage and Training Management System (TMS) records.
- Ensure adequate Assessors and Verifiers are appropriately trained and ensure sufficient cover across all shifts.
- Ensure appropriate training and competence assessment is provided for all Emergency Response roles.
- Take responsibility for collating, analysing and actioning training needs from the annual and interim appraisal processes.
- Liaise with external training providers to ensure that training and development requests are processed, including management of the training inbox and the TMS system, and facilitate monthly business performance reviews with our key training and system provider.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts within the business, including offshore managers, supervisors and HSE, and colleagues in the global head office.
- Liaise with business contacts and take responsibility for arranging training initiatives such as leadership training, team building days, IT training etc.
- Prepare and issue the monthly training report to the global HR function.
- Ensure all employee data is processed and stored in compliance with UK GDPR legislation.
- Check and record invoices for training bookings.
- Lead or support any assigned HR projects to agreed timelines.
- Undertake offshore visits, as required, to develop and maintain relationships and support HR processes.
- Perform any other tasks as reasonably required to support the HR team.
