What you'll do

  • Research, develop, and implement advanced deep learning and machine learning technologies to personalize user recommendations.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of defined problems, from initial data exploration and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Utilize modern ML frameworks to design, train, and optimize models within production settings.
  • Contribute to experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and offline evaluations, to iteratively improve model performance.
  • Maintain and monitor production models, troubleshoot issues, and ensure their reliability at scale.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions from concept to impact, balancing speed with thoroughness.
  • Implement responsible AI practices, considering fairness, transparency, and safety throughout model development and deployment.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3 years of practical experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with an ML framework like Py Torch or Tensor Flow.
  • Industry experience applying machine learning, particularly in recommender systems, ranking, or personalization.
  • Solid understanding of MLOps and infrastructure concepts, including CI/CD for ML, feature stores, model serving, observability, and versioning.
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of experimentation methodologies like A/B testing and various model evaluation techniques.
  • Ability to adapt approaches based on data and changing priorities while focusing on outcomes.
  • Developing AI fluency, including the ability to independently apply ML techniques and emerging tools like LLMs responsibly to solve problems.
