Responsibilities
- Strategically partner with Marketing leadership to shape growth and investment strategies that support Bumble’s long‑term direction, role‑modeling
- Courage and
Respect in how you challenge and champion decisions.
- Lead Marketing planning rhythms (annual plan, forecasts, and ad hoc deep‑dives), bringing thought leadership that connects strategy to spend, KPIs, and outcomes.
- Build and evolve ROI and investment models for Marketing (e. g., CAC/LTV, payback, funnel and cohort dynamics) to guide prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Provide clear visibility of performance across Marketing and the wider business, translating complex data into decision‑ready insights that drive accountability against financial targets and operational KPIs.
- Own variance analysis versus plan, identify the “why” behind performance, and influence actions that maximise business outcomes — seeing work through from insight to impact with
Excellence .
- Manage risks and opportunities across the quarter to anticipate landing positions early and enable confident decisions through disciplined scenario planning.
- Partner with User Acquisition and cross‑functional teams (e. g., Accounting and Analytics & Data/ADA) to interrogate and synthesise performance from multiple data sources, strengthening measurement and operational rigour.
- Manage, develop, and coach a team — building an inclusive, high‑trust environment that sparks
Joy in great work and raises capability across the broader FP&A team through operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Typically requires 8+ years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills.
- Significant Commercial Finance/FP&A experience with confident business partnering — able to both champion and constructively challenge senior Marketing stakeholders with

Courage .
- Proven people leadership experience (including 3+ years managing a team of 4+), with a coaching mindset and a track record of developing talent.
- Strong ROI modelling capability for Marketing investments, using unit economics and cohort‑based thinking to influence strategic decision‑making.
- Comfortable presenting concise, compelling recommendations to senior leaders (SLT/ELT), connecting financial and non‑financial performance and driving action.
- Takes ownership end‑to‑end, collaborates with purpose across functions, and adapts plans with an agile mindset when new information emerges — grounded in

- Practically fluent with AI tools in a finance context: using them to accelerate analysis, scenario exploration, and storytelling while applying strong judgement, data privacy, and controls.
