At Bumble, we’re building a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable — and that mission comes to life through a dynamic, people-powered digital marketplace. The Product Growth team is responsible for shaping how millions of people experience that ecosystem, ensuring we deliver value in a way that is balanced, engaging, and sustainable across our global community. As a Growth Strategy Lead, you will play a critical role in understanding and optimising this B2C marketplace — using data, experimentation, and commercial insight to unlock meaningful growth. You’ll work at the intersection of product, data, and strategy to diagnose performance, identify opportunities, and influence decisions that improve engagement, liquidity, and long-term retention. This role is grounded in Curiosity and Excellence — diving deep into user behaviour while driving high-impact outcomes. You’ll collaborate with purpose, take ownership from insight through to execution, and use AI tools to enhance how quickly and effectively we generate, test, and act on insights.
What You'll Do
- Analyse end-to-end product and B2C marketplace performance, identifying growth opportunities, diagnosing friction points, and improving ecosystem health (e.g. supply-demand balance, user liquidity).
- Apply structured prioritisation frameworks (e.g. RICE, North Star metrics) to guide strategic decisions and maximise user and business impact.
- Partner with Product Managers, Data teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape and deliver growth strategies across acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Support and influence experimentation roadmaps, ensuring hypotheses reflect user behaviour, marketplace dynamics, and measurable outcomes.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights and narratives that drive alignment and influence senior stakeholders.
- Monitor and diagnose key metrics and trends leveraging internal tools such as Looker.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate diagnostics, uncover behavioural patterns, and improve the speed and quality of strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, take ownership of initiatives, and adapt with an agile mindset, role-modelling Bumble values such as Courage and Respect.
About You
- Significant experience in growth strategy, product analytics, management consulting, or a related field within a B2C digital marketplace or consumer tech environment (required).
- Typically requires 8–12 years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills.
- Strong understanding of B2C user behaviour and marketplace dynamics, including liquidity, network effects, and supply-demand balance.
- Proven ability to analyse complex datasets and translate them into clear, strategic recommendations that drive measurable impact.
- Deep familiarity with growth frameworks such as funnel analysis, cohort analysis, North Star metrics, and prioritisation methodologies like RICE.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Data teams in an experimentation-led, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Looker.
- Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with purpose, take ownership, and see work through from insight to impact, with an agile mindset.
- Brings Curiosity to explore new approaches and Courage to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Comfortable independently leveraging AI tools to enhance analysis, generate insights, and improve day-to-day efficiency.
