The team focuses on driving the development and maintenance of our infrastructure and services to support our diverse portfolio of internal customers including Platform As a Service, based on Kubernetes; Database and Storage solutions and services for our Data Analysis, Machine Learning and product development. We operate both in the cloud and on-prem.

What you’ll do:

  • As Engineering Manager for Service and Platform Engineering, you will be part of a talented cross‑functional engineering management team, representing your team within the Bumble Tech organisation and driving complex change in collaboration with teams across the business.
  • Lead a team of some of the most senior infrastructure engineers in the business on the infrastructure modernisation programme, emphasising the Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap for our offerings, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions.
  • Ensure successful project delivery and project management, including resource allocation, workload prioritization, and capacity planning to optimise team efficiency and meet project deadlines.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements, adapting them to different environments.

About you:
