Bumble Inc. is seeking a skilled Product Analyst to collaborate with senior business stakeholders and product managers in providing data-driven insights across all stages of the product development lifecycle. This role will focus on experimentation, statistical analysis, data modelling and visualisation, as well as in-depth product analyses. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a passion for contributing to helping the Bumble Inc. mission to foster kind connections.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Be an analytical thought partner to a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and product managers, providing analytical support across all areas of the product development lifecycle, from ideation and broad product strategy to analytics deep dives and experimentation.
  • Lead experimentation across an area of the product, designing and executing multi-step experiments to understand the impact of a feature or product change on user behaviour and business KPIs. Interpret experiment results and translate them into actionable recommendations for a non-technical audience.
  • Own event tracking for one area of the app, understanding which events are critical to track user behaviour.
  • Create self-serve dashboards to ensure stakeholders have access to real-time insights.
  • Provide actionable insights on product strategy and recommendations to stakeholders, automating decision-making where applicable and providing tools and solutions that help enable self-service and scalability.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the product domain, becoming an authority on its characteristics, drivers, and subsystems.
  • Contribute to data quality related to the domain, proactively working with Data and Analytics Engineering and other teams to improve data collection and modelling.
  • Create an environment of utilising data for planning and execution, always keeping in mind alternative and creative solutions to performance measurement across a variety of product initiatives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Preference for a graduate degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, or STEM. PhD and Masters welcome.
  • Experience using SQL and Python to solve data science, statistical and analytics problems.
  • Experience working in similar dating, social, or gaming tech product industries or in financial services or high-data-volume industries.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative cross-functional space and translating technical insights for a non-technical audience.
  • Experience setting up experimentation, statistical measurement, and data collection in the product domain.
  • Strong experience creating data visualisations and self-serve tools for a product-focused audience.
  • Keep an eye on the industry, understanding how the wider dating industry influences product strategy.
  • Experience working with complex data infrastructures and partnering with data engineering to facilitate ingestion, warehousing, and optimisation of databases.
  • 3+ years experience in product analytics, being able to elaborate on the business impact driven in previous experience.
