Salary: BA5 - Points 4-6 £25,185 - £25,989 (FTE (£8,872-£9,062 actual salary))

Start Date: September 2026

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Term‑time only (39 weeks) 15 hours per week (6.00pm‑9.00pm).

Responsibilities:
  • Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the Academy site.
  • Carry out a range of maintenance, repair and site duties to a high standard, supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the Academy.
  • Be proactive, organised and able to respond effectively to the needs of a busy school environment.
  • Set high standards and act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork and a commitment to our values.
  • Support Academy activities and events, including assisting with room set‑ups and wider site requirements.
Requirements:
  • Numeracy and literacy skills with an ability to keep accurate records.
  • Experience of undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Experience of working in a customer‑facing role.
  • Aware of and understanding of working in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulation, including good practice in relation to caretaking, cleaning and hygiene.
