Role: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: St Helens
Pay: £15 per hour, £25 per night out
Benefits: Full-time position, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Drivers will cover at least two nights out per week. Start times may vary - we pride ourselves on punctuality and flexibility.
The role involves multidrop and ratchet strapping to secure the load. Successful candidates will be started within 1 week of interview & assessment.
Responsibilities:- Secure load for transit
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- 3 years Class 1 Driver experience
- Clean driving record (maximum 6 points on License)
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Successful candidates will need to provide a reference from their previous employer.
