- We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Trainee Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Bullitt Hotel.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to learn valuable maintenance skills while supporting our hotel operations and helping everything run smoothly.
We have 74 bedrooms, 3 bars, 2 restaurants and a roof garden, so there’s plenty to get stuck into for anyone interested in expanding their career.
What you’ll do
Reporting to our experienced Maintenance Manager, you will receive hands-on training in maintaining hotel facilities, as well as:
- Assist with day-to-day maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Carry out basic repairs including painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical tasks under supervision.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
- Help maintain hotel equipment, fixtures and furnishings.
- Assist external contractors when required.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Fire Safety and hotel procedures.
- Report maintenance issues that require specialist attention.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who is
- Positive and willing to learn
- A problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical duties e. g. lifting, carrying, working at height
- Reliable, punctual and organised, with good time management
- Able to work safely and follow instructions
