We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO and SD Consultant to support and enhance a highly customized Trading Partner (TP) Solution. This solution is bespoke, complex, and tailored to specific business processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, BAU teams, and FUSION teams to manage enhancements, resolve issues, and address audit or compliance requirements.
This role requires deep functional knowledge across SAP FICO and SAP SD, with hands-on experience in custom design, integrations, and bespoke configuration.
Key Responsibilities- Support and enhance a highly customized, non-standard Trading Partner (TP) Solution.
- Understand end-to-end design built specifically for business processes.
- Analyze complex TP-related business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
- Work with FUSION teams when new developments or compliance changes arise.
- Provide expert support for audit requirements, testing, and documentation.
- Configure and support FI modules: GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting.
- Manage CO processes: Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, COPA.
- Understand financial integrations tied to the bespoke Trading Partner Solution.
- Support period-end closing activities.
- Handle SD processes connected to the TP solution: Order-to-Cash.
- Output management.
- Work across interfaces, IDocs, and custom logic supporting Trading Partner operations.
- Conduct detailed KT sessions with BAU teams and support their ongoing activities.
- Collaborate with FUSION resources on new changes, enhancements, or compliance updates.
- Create functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams.
- Participate in UAT, regression testing, and solution validations.
- Document changes: BRD, FSD, configuration docs, and test scripts.
- 6+ years of SAP functional experience in FICO and SD.
- Experience working in complex, bespoke SAP solutions (not standard SAP).
- Strong understanding of integration between FI, CO, and SD.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot intricate custom configurations.
- Experience handling audit, compliance, and control-related activities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in multi-system landscapes involving Fusion or similar integration hubs.
- Knowledge of IDocs, interfaces, and custom enhancements.
- Exposure to highly regulated industries.
- Experience providing KT and working with distributed teams.
