This is a client‑facing role within Client, supporting Japanese life insurance clients undertaking enterprise‑wide business and operating model transformation. The Product Owner / Product Manager will be responsible for translating insurance client’s life, retirement, and succession planning strategy into clear, execution‑ready product outcomes. The role acts as the primary interface between business stakeholders, transformation leadership, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are aligned to customer needs, regulatory expectations, and long‑term value realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, roadmap, OKRs/KPIs for planning journeys; align with business, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
- Own and prioritize product backlog (epics/features/stories), define acceptance criteria, manage scope and dependencies.
- Partner with UX/Engineering/Architecture/Data to shape solution design; support release planning and value tracking.
- Ensure domain/regulatory alignment (e.g., advice/disclosures, suitability, data/privacy) across product increments.
Experience & Skills
- Strong experience in insurance / wealth / retirement / annuity / succession planning journeys (digital and/or advisor‑led).
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and decision‑making; able to operate in complex, regulated environments.
- Proven PO/PM experience in Agile delivery; hands‑on with story writing, prioritization, and sprint execution.
