Bullish Exchange is regulated in Germany, Hong Kong, and Gibraltar and provides a high-performance order book with automated market making. CoinDesk Indices track performance of digital assets for global institutions, CoinDesk Data offers real-time market data and analytics, and CoinDesk Insights covers news and insights about digital assets and related topics.
Reports To: Head of Product Design.
Senior Product Designer will assist in designing web and native applications with a focus on excellent user experiences in our London office. This role joins the Product Design team to design, build, and deploy products that enhance the user experience of Bullish Global suite of products and software applications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Facilitate and champion the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Identify design problems and devise elegant product solutions
- Work with Product Management on strategic design and user-experience decisions related to existing and new features for a variety of products
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
- Collaborate with the UX team and other product team members and stakeholders
- Ask questions, take risks and champion new ideas
- Cooperate with developers to match visual design intent
- Contribute to overall Design Team processes and libraries
- Other duties as assigned
Experience / Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience
- Provide a portfolio/examples of prior work, demonstrating your ability to take a project from start to finish
- You’re a generalist, excelling at everything from UX work and wireframing to fine-grained visual design
- You’re passionate about UI design and adept at integrating it with the overall user experience
- Expertise in design software such as Figma; basic React, CSS, or JavaScript skills are a plus
- Experienced in leveraging generative AI for rapid prototyping and ideation, including prompt-based code generation to translate complex design concepts into functional interfaces
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders as well as clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet users’ needs and product vision
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design mobile-first and responsive solutions
- Solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
- Clear and effective communication of design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
- Ability to work effectively in a team, synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
- Open to collaborating with teams and stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval
- Receptive to feedback and constructive criticism
- Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
