We are looking for a highly analytical Product Manager with a strong quantitative background to join our Product Management team in Hong Kong. This is a unique "Technical Product" role designed for a former Quant, Front Office Developer, or Financial Engineer who is ready to step away from full-time coding to take a lead role in the business and product side of trading.

As the Product Manager for Trading, you will bridge the gap between complex mathematical models and scalable production code. You will be responsible for ensuring our pricing, risk models and core trading engine logic are robust, and working cross-functionally to launch features that define the future of TradFi, CeFI and DeFi integration. You are someone who can speak the language of developers and quants fluently but prefers to spend your day solving business problems, writing specs, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap: Support the definition and management of the Trading product roadmap, specifically focusing on execution logic, pricing engines, and risk parameters.
  • Prototyping & Analysis: Build and run complex market simulations; use Python and SQL to create prototypes and analyze results to validate product hypotheses.
  • Technical Documentation: Write clear, detailed functional specifications and use-cases that define how trading features should behave.
  • Stakeholder Management: Gather requirements from internal teams (Risk, Compliance, Marketing) and external partners, ensuring the product vision is understood and bought into across the firm.
  • Testing & Validation: Oversee the testing of new features, ensuring the "math" works in practice as intended in the specs.
  • Product Enablement: Create technical demos and content to support Marketing and Sales in showcasing the sophistication of the trading platform.
  • Model Translation: Build mathematical models for new product features and refine existing ones; act as the primary translator for developers to turn these models into high-performance code.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics, Computer Science or a similar quantitative field.
  • Quant/Dev Background: Proven experience as a Front Office Quant, Structurer, or Developer within a trading environment (Derivatives experience preferred).
  • The "Product" Mindset: A strong desire to move away from full-stack engineering/heavy coding and into a role focused on product strategy, user experience, and business growth.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Python (for prototyping) and SQL; a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic statistical methods.
  • Finance Knowledge: Solid understanding of option pricing models, market microstructure, and derivative trading.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Legal, Marketing, etc.) and a "can-do" attitude toward documentation.
  • Crypto/DeFi Savvy: Prior experience with automated market makers (AMMs), liquidity pools, or centralized crypto exchanges (CeFi).
  • TradFi Experience: Experience building or maintaining traditional high-frequency trading systems or matching engines.
  • Tooling: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Agile methodologies.
  • Vision: A genuine passion for how blockchain technology is transforming traditional financial services.
