Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or Recruitment Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career.

Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient and proactive HR service across the business.

You'll support the full employee lifecycle, coordinate recruitment activity, maintain HR systems and documentation, and help ensure our people processes run smoothly.

This is a varied, fast-paced role with genuine responsibility from day one.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, uses their initiative and takes pride in delivering an excellent experience for both candidates and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment
  • Manage recruitment activity from advert through to offer.
  • Screen CVs and conduct telephone screening interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and recruitment agencies.
  • Prepare offer documentation and contracts of employment.
  • Complete pre-employment checks, including references and right to work documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new starters.
  • Maintain our Applicant Tracking System and recruitment records.
  • Produce recruitment reports and KPI data.
  • Support initiatives to improve candidate attraction and the recruitment experience.
  • HR Operations
  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to day-to-day HR queries.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters and employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HR system.
  • Coordinate probation reviews and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support absence management and family leave administration.
  • Assist with monthly payroll administration.
  • Produce HR reports and management information.
  • Support HR policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with HR projects and wider people initiatives.
  • Employee Relations Support
  • Prepare documentation for disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
  • Coordinate meetings and take notes where required.
  • Support investigations and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Office Operations
  • Coordinate office supplies and consumables.
  • Support meeting room bookings and visitor management.
  • Assist with new starter equipment and workstation setup.
  • Help coordinate internal events and employee initiatives.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, HR Officer or similar role.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment, including candidate management and interview scheduling.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
  • A good understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) would be advantageous.
