Location: Birmingham, Office-based

Contract: Full time, permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview:

This is a highly hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, commercially focused environments and enjoys operating both strategically and operationally. You’ll be in the detail, in the numbers and in the execution, whilst also helping shape wider business strategy and growth plans. Working closely with the CEO and wider Leadership Team, you will help drive revenue growth, improve operational performance and support the ongoing evolution of the business.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Marketing & Growth – performance marketing, CRM, customer acquisition and brand growth
  • Sales & Commercial Strategy – pricing, revenue growth, customer lifecycle and commercial opportunities
  • Ecommerce & Customer Experience – conversion, UX, product development and data-led optimisation
  • Operational Performance & Scalability – fulfilment, efficiency, scalability and customer journey improvements
  • AI & Automation Initiatives – embedding automation and operational efficiencies across the business

Delivering an excellent customer experience is a core pillar of this role, not an add-on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive commercial growth, customer acquisition and revenue performance across the business
  • Support and influence marketing, ecommerce and sales strategies to improve conversion, retention and customer lifetime value
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives focused on scalability, efficiency and customer experience
  • Work closely with senior leadership teams to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance
  • Support AI and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
  • Use data, reporting and commercial insight to drive strategic and operational decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Technology and Finance teams
  • Help shape the future direction, structure and scalability of the business

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial instinct with experience driving revenue and margin growth
  • Proven experience within marketing, sales or ecommerce functions (ideally across multiple areas)
  • Highly data-driven with strong analytical and decision-making capability
  • Strong operational and execution capability
  • Comfortable operating in a highly hands-on role rather than a purely strategic position
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Genuine passion for customer experience and operational excellence
  • Ability to move quickly, solve problems and deliver outcomes within fast-paced environments
  • Experience within high-consideration or trust-led industries such as financial services, luxury retail or insurance (desirable)
  • Exposure to operational scaling, fulfilment or logistics environments (desirable)
  • Genuine interest in AI, automation and technology-driven operational improvement (desirable)
