This role provides senior financial leadership across the Group during a period of heightened strategic, reporting and performance focus. The incumbent GFC is working on a strategic project, therefore a back‐fill is required to ensure that this group‐wide critical role continues to deliver.

The Group Financial Controller will work closely with local finance teams across multiple jurisdictions, consolidating financial data into clear, accurate and insightful reporting for Executive, Investor and Finance party audiences. The role supports the Group CFO owning the operational finance cadence, ensuring disciplined delivery against KPIs, maintaining rigorous control standards, and producing high-quality financial narratives that inform decision-making at EXCO level. This is a high‐responsibility role within a lean, performance‐driven environment where deadlines, accuracy and commercial insight are critical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead month‐end, quarter‐end and year‐to‐date financial close processes.
  • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts with meaningful analysis and commercial commentary.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, reconciliations and financial data.
  • Work closely with the Group Head of FP&A to develop the automation of monthly reporting.
  • Maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Support statutory, regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies and tax advisors.
  • Work closely with the Group CFO ensuring effective deployment of Group's cash resources across the Group.
  • Drive disciplined use of existing financial systems and controls to ensure reliable, timely and consistent financial reporting across the Group.
  • Maintain and refine core financial processes where needed to uphold high delivery standards, data quality and governance expectations.
  • Work closely with multi‐jurisdictional teams from finance, operations and leadership to align performance metrics with business objectives.
  • Support the CFO agenda through the delivery of high-quality financial presentations and stakeholder communications.
Experience and Skills
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong financial control and reporting experience within financial services, fiduciary, funds or professional services environments.
  • Proven experience producing management accounts with clear commercial commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and established financial systems.
  • Experience managing controls, compliance and audit processes in regulated environments.
  • Highly desirable: Experience working in a private equity‐backed business.
  • Exposure to working across multi‐jurisdictional finance teams and dealing with FX (e.g. Isle of Man, Channel Islands, UAE and Switzerland).
  • Background in professional services models, including time‐based revenue recognition models and margin analysis.
