About the role
We are seeking a Fractional Consultant to join the Decimal team, who will report directly into the Compliance Director, and will lead efforts to ensure full adherence to the UK Gambling Commission's Remote Gambling and Software Technical Standards (RTS) for a Gambling Software provider.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead RTS compliance for a GB regulated Software Provider.
- Interpret and apply RTS as issued by regulators and develop appropriate technical controls, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee all required testing for RNG games and virtual events to ensure they have been deployed as certified.
- Manage the initial certification, reācertification after updates, version control and release approvals ā Liaising with internal developers.
- Manage relationships with external testing labs and oversee remediation (if required).
- Incident management ā Lead or support investigation of game malfunctions and breaches of technical standards.
- Logging, Monitoring & Audit Readiness ā ensure systems maintain complete, accurate, and tamperāproof logs and traceability of game outcomes, transactions, and player activity.
- Act as a key point of contact during regulator or auditor queries.
Secondary responsibilities
- Oversee license applications and establish compliance frameworks for gambling software testing in new jurisdictions, adapting RTS principles to local requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments, train staff, and represent the company in audits or regulator interactions.
- Stay up to date with regulatory updates, technical bulletins, and consultations and report back to management and frontāline teams, as required.
About you
- Proven, handsāon experience leading RTS compliance for a GBāregulated gambling software provider.
- Deep understanding of RNGābased games, including slots, virtuals, and live casino; sportsbook testing experience is desirable.
- Practical experience managing game certification, reācertification, change control, and release approvals.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical technical controls, policies, and procedures.
- Experience supporting or leading technical incident investigations, including regulator engagement and remediation.
- Solid understanding of logging, monitoring, audit trails, and audit readiness in regulated gambling systems.
- Confident acting as a key point of contact during regulatory or auditor interactions.
Desirable attributes
- Experience supporting multiājurisdictional expansion and adapting RTSāstyle controls to new regulatory frameworks.
- Exposure to additional gambling jurisdictions beyond Great Britain.
This role is currently for a UK gambling software provider and as such, the number of hours / days required is TBD. The Group has ambitious expansion plans into other jurisdictions, so if interested, there is scope for this to become a fullātime role as they expand into more jurisdictions.
