The Assistant Management Accountant role at Bulletproof (part of the Cyber Division within GRC) offers a unique opportunity to join a newly formed finance team at a critical point. Following several acquisitions, the Cyber Division is on an accelerated growth path, and this role is central to shaping the financial processes and reporting standards that will support that journey. Reporting directly to the Cyber Divisional Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play an integral role in providing financial insights, budget analysis, and management reporting to support strategic decision-making across the Cyber Division.
This role will support the Finance Team, as an Assistant Management Accountant working across a range of financial activity within Bulletproof and its sister company, Pentest People, and will play a key part in the monthly reporting and analysis of these areas.
This role includes study support and is ideal for an aspiring management accountant with strong attention to detail who would enjoy working in a fast-paced business.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly reporting, and the monthly management accounts.
- Preparing the balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month end.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly cost and revenue reconciliations to support Bulletproof and Pentest People P&L.
- Preparing and reviewing transactional data to ensure are coded correctly and the accounting records are accurate.
- Taking responsibility for recording intercompany figures across the P&L and balance sheet with counterparties across the SME division. This includes the preparation of any relevant recharges across the division.
- Reconciling reports from the other source systems to the information held on the financial ERP system.
- Assisting the finance team with the provision of information for audit purposes.
- Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks, queries and reporting.
Experience:
- Experience of working with Excel.
- Be working towards a finance qualification or aspiring to do so.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, including analytical and logic problem solving skills.
- The ability to exercise strong judgement and initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
