What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out efficient collection and delivery of palletised freight, using tail lifts and electric pallet trucks.
- Ensure all work-related paperwork is accurately completed and submitted at the end of each shift.
- Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after every shift to maintain safety and legal compliance.
- Report any non-conformities, issues or near misses promptly to your line manager.
- Secure freight safely for transit to protect goods and maintain quality standards.
- Deliver goods on time, maintaining professionalism and care throughout the journey.
- Use our industry-leading technology for route optimisation and proof-of-delivery capture, making your day smoother and more efficient.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience operating Heavy Goods Vehicles.
- Competent in using power pallet trucks and electronic delivery equipment.
- Exceptional customer service skills and confidence dealing with customers.
- Pride in maintaining your vehicle and equipment to a high standard.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Licences & Certifications
- Digital Tacho Card – Required
- Valid Driving Licence – Required
- Driver CPC – Required
- Strong working knowledge of driver regulations – Required
