What You’ll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
- Moving and stacking pallets/boxes using a forklift and warehouse equipment.
- Spotting lorries and allocating freight to the correct routes and vehicles.
- Managing and rotating stock in the warehouse and secure areas.
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse and yard cleanliness.
- Receiving and processing shipments with accuracy.
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment, reporting faults promptly.
- Performing accurate scanning and data capture.
- Ensuring vehicles leave on schedule with correctly loaded freight.
- Valid Forklift Licence and hands-on experience.
- Experience in a busy warehouse environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Good decision-making and time-management skills.
- A full driving licence (required).
- Reliable, hardworking, and safe.
