The Bull is a 16th‑century pub with rooms, right at the heart of Ditchling. We’re busy all year round! From locals at the bar, to destination diners in the restaurant, to guests staying in our six bedrooms. Add in a buzzing garden in summer and you’ve got a pub that never stands still. We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who wants more than just running shifts. Someone who wants to learn how to run a business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading shifts and setting the tone on the floor
  • Supporting and developing the team day‑to‑day
  • Driving standards, energy, and guest experience
  • Working closely with the GM to understand the bigger picture – from sales to people to profit
