The Bull At The Gate is a boutique personal training studio with two prime locations in London: Holborn (4 Gate Street) and Fleet Street (59 Fleet Street). We are dedicated to empowering City professionals to achieve their peak physical fitness by creating a private, supportive and exclusive environment. The company was created by a husband and wife team who have been leaders in the field for 18 years and is not owned by a corporation.

At BATG, we pride ourselves on delivering expert personal training, utilising elite equipment, and offering holistic support in a motivating atmosphere. Join our team of like-minded, passionate Personal Trainers who transform lives through tailored health, wellness, and fitness programmes. We are committed to working hard and having fun in the process. On average our PTs deliver 30-45 sessions a week.

This fortunate candidate will get started with an existing client base passed over from one of our PTs who is moving to Hong Kong. We have 8 sessions a week available with new potential leads coming in weekly. Our clients are driven and interesting people who are committed to long term routines and are hungry to learn more.

Job Overview

As a Personal Trainer at BATG, you will deliver bespoke fitness programmes tailored to the individual needs of each client. You will assess clients, design and implement personalised training plans, and provide expert guidance on exercise technique, injury prevention, and lifestyle factors. You will collaborate with fellow trainers creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere, whilst building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fitness assessments to understand clients’ health status, fitness levels, and goals.
  • Design and deliver one-on-one, personalised training programs that address clients’ needs, preferences, and abilities.
  • Instruct clients on proper use of exercise equipment and safe exercise techniques, adapting sessions as required to client conditions
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science, nutrition basics and holistic wellness principles
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe training environment.
  • Promote BATG’s fitness services and assist with client acquisition.
  • Professional demeanour, collaborating with management and fellow trainers to ensure smooth gym operations.
  • Candidate is able to commit to 30+ hours a week and start immediately

Qualifications

  • Certified Personal Trainer accreditation from a recognised organisation (REPs and CIMSPA)
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science, fitness techniques, and nutrition principles.
  • 4+ years experience as a personal trainer
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises and provide clear, supportive instruction.
  • Flexible availability including early mornings and evenings
