IN A NUTSHELL
We're on the hunt for a bold Motion Designer, with strong video editing skills, to join our creative department. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality video and motion graphics content. Your work will help elevate our brand across a variety of marketing channels, driving engagement, boosting visibility, and making a real impact.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Edit raw footage into cohesive, visually appealing video content.
- Enhancing the content with kinetic typography and motion design to make channel-first content that performs.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Working closely with our in-house Videographer to ensure video projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards.
- Edit and synchronise audio tracks, voiceovers, and sound effects with video content.
- Understand social media behaviour and trends, as well as platform requirements on format and spec.
- Test and learn through content performance. Working with our social team to create content that performs on multiple platforms.
- Maintain and advocate for brand consistency through video and animated content.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and software advancements in video editing and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute video campaigns for various marketing channels.
- Maintain an organised file structure and asset library for easy retrieval and future reference.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of storytelling and composition.
- Knowledge of production processes and workflows.
- A keen eye for typographic animation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous video editing and motion graphics work.
- Proficiency in video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Passion for sports and a good understanding of the sports nutrition industry is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in film production, multimedia design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong knowledge of video editing techniques, motion graphics, and visual effects.
