We want people that live and breathe digital and have an affinity to the world of nutrition, health, fitness, and sports.IN A NUTSHELLAs our Digital Trading Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the trade calendar, implementing a dynamic pricing strategy, and ensuring we optimise our stock management through innovative trading strategies. You will be reporting directly to the eCommerce Director and will implement best practices whilst constantly challenging the way we do things.Working closely with cross-functional teams across, Brand, Loyalty, Performance Marketing, CRO, IPP & Logistics, you’ll use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and implement solutions to enhance the online customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth environment where your expertise will directly impact our eCommerce performance.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?Budget management: Work with the eCommerce Director and our Commercial Finance team to set the budget for the business and ensure we deliver against itObsessed with data: Use our BI platform, Tableau, to fully understand the performance of the business and work with the relevant stakeholders to optimise each function. You’ll know our core trading metrics such as Sessions, AOV, UPO, conversion rate (and many more!) better than anyone in the businessForecasting excellence: Develop our forecasting ability to constantly improve our hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly accuracy to ensure the business operates efficiently and we maximise the consumer experienceDynamic pricing: Implement and optimise a dynamic pricing strategy to maximise margin, ensuring competitiveness in the market while aligning with overall brand positioning and profitability targetsTrading calendar: Ensure the trading plan is continually optimised to stay relevant, fresh, and localised, where needed, and ensure we consistently offer our customers the best possible value whilst maximising our marginContent management: Brief our Brand & Creative teams for onsite banners and ensure they’re fresh, on brand, and deployed in line with the trading planeCommerce Merchandising : Ensure our Trading and Merchandising strategies are in lock-step to ensure that maximising the effectiveness of both functionsCross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Brand, Loyalty, and Performance Marketing teams to ensure all trading activities are integrated with marketing campaigns, customer loyalty initiatives, and performance-driven goalsStock Management: Work closely with our IPP team to ensure our dynamic pricing strategy is optimised for not only margin but also stock management, availability, and consumer experience.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Ideally, you\’ll have over 5 years of experience in a Digital Trading role within an eCommerce business.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations.Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential.Proven experience in implementing pricing strategies within an eCommerce business, with a strong understanding of price elasticity to maximise margins.Familiarity with leading eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Adobe/Magento Commerce.Strong communication skills: have the ability to build professional relationships both internally and with external partnersObsessed with data: have a real love for data and Excel/Google Sheets and able to interpret data and react accordinglyCoaching & mentoring: Be able to manage and coach a team of Digital eCommerce Executives to forge a strong team, hit the business goals and create a culture of continuous improvementAdaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.Consumer-Centric Mindset: Always considers the end-user experience when making decisions and implementing strategies.Ideally, you’ll have experience in eCommerce behaviours across multiple countries.WHAT ARE THE GAINS?Monthly Bulk Bank Benefits Allowance including a subsidised Gym Membership ️A day off to celebrate your Birthday PerkBox Subscription 60% discount on all Bulk products Flexi Start Additional Annual Leave (optional) Teammate Pension Scheme Life Assurance Medicash ️A day off for Volunteering (optional) Cycle to Work Scheme Enhanced Maternity & Paternity leave and workplace nursery scheme Bulk Pantry Happy Hour Drinks Fridge (Thursdays & Fridays) Summer Working Hours LOCATION: LondonHYBRID: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from homeOUR COMMITMENT Bulk is a place where employees have a voice fundamental to our success as a business.
