HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring timely deliveries of aggregates.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, preferably with tipper experience.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
